I've read the Behringer promotional material sent with the amplifier. It the (ACX-450) is even better than the promotion. The range, texture and quality of sound is amazing -- both instumentally & vocally. Mr. Behringer has said that the aim of the company is to provide equipment of the highest quality for musicians on a limited budget. In my opinion, this calim has been amply substantiated with this amplimfier. Many thanks to everyone at Behringer for this fine amplifier!

This beautiful amp produces some amazing clean sounds, and the effects and equalizers are a nice bonus too. For the price, it can't be beat. It's got two inputs, so the only thing missing is a headphone jack, but as powerful as this thing is, you'd almost be insulting it to hook up headphones. I haven't used the cd inputs (on the back) yet, but everything else works great, and I have no doubt this will too. Not sure I'll use the foot switches (though they work), but can see how a pro would.
side note: It's labeled as an "accoustic amp" but I'm running an electric guitar through it and it sounds incredible.
I'll update this if I run across any issues, but I don't forsee any.

I Love this AMP! I have a Larger Behringer amplifier, but wanted a smaller one for jamming and taking places when playing music with my friends. The amp weighs about 40 pounds or so, I am an older music lover, but have no problem carrying it to gigs. This amp has great quality for the price. It has many adjustments for the Reverb mode which I like when I plug in my Mic. It also has the reverb selections, for the guitar mode as well. I have a "guitar pick up" which I insert into my Martin 12-string or my Martin 6-string.. accoustic guitars, and the quality of this is amazing. I checked other websites for this Behringer amp, and found Amazon was the best price for this particular accoustic amp,.. plus they gave me free shipping to Hawaii!! The amp came in less than a week after I ordered it.
For the price of this amp, you get the quality of sound, which is unreal. I am very stoked with this amp, and cannot say enough about it. The main thing is you get the quality of sound, for singing, and playing for the price you pay for this amp. I can sing, and hold a tune , but with the reverb mode, it makes me sound a bit better !

Got this amp for my Harmony by Heathkit (vintage 1966) guitar. It certainly sounds richer, louder, cleaner than the Kent and Silvertonw Twin 12s I remember back in the day. It's also free of vibration, even at higher volume levels. The only problem I've encountered is a slight hum that varies based on the guitar's location with respect to the amp (also replaced the cable). A guitar repairman told me that this has to do with the DiArmond pickups used on the Harmony Rocket and has nothing to do with the amp.
I also use the mic input while playing the guitar. Separate EQ allows me to optimize guitar sound and eliminate feedback in the roughly 20 X 30 foot room I'm playing/singing in. Digital effects work well for me. BTW, no hum in the mic input.
Most musicians I talk to joke about Behringer products. I don't know why? A friend said I should have bought a Fender Squire for about $450 (paid $179 for Behringer, new). We put them side by side in a large room. Musician friend was favorably surprised.

Great amp but the instructions are minimal and pretty worthless. Unless you have a mixer, you can only use one instrument and one microphone with this. Really puts out the sound though, and I guess that's what you get an amp for! I used it in a basketball gym and only had to turn the gain up to 2-3 to fill the place. Very nice effects on both channels.
