Perfect Size for the Right-Sized Guitar Aug 08, 2010

If you have a smaller acoustic guitar, like a child-sized guitar, this will fit almost perfectly. If you're traveling with it, you may need to stuff the minor empty spaces around it with something soft, but it's a near-perfect fit. I have no problems carrying it around. It does not get stopped at airports either. However, despite the hardshell build, it gets nicked on the outside somewhat easily. I have a few dents and scrapes on it, and I haven't even been doing much with it yet. The other problem is that it smells awful (some kind of chemical) inside. I've been airing it outdoors for hours at a time over several days and got a little better but still smells. I tried putting potpourri inside it but it hasn't helped much.

I bought a new 3/4 folk guitar and got this case to protect it. The case is great , very sturdy and nice looking, but it is smaller than a 3/4 , this case looks like it is for a child size guitar.
I hate that I have to return and wished it had fit..

I love this case! Now that I have gotten that out of the way let me tell you why. I have been looking everywhere for a hard case for my Cordoba Requinto 1/2 Size Classical Guitar. It is super hard to find a case for small guitars and I was so happy to find this one. It states in the the product discription that this is a case for 3/4 size guitars but my Cordoba 1/2 size guitar fits almost perfectly with just 3 inches of extra room at the guitar head and no extra room around the body. The case is padded on the inside with a plush lining that keeps the guitar from moving. A small compartment under the neck is great for a capo, picks and cleaning rag. I know that this case offers much better protection then the gig bag the guitar came with. I am planning to add a guitar humidifier this fall which will hopefully keep my guitar in good shape through the dry winter weather. Before ordering this case I went to the Gator website for the inside measurements and compared them to my Cordoba to make sure of a good fit. Very happy to have a case just the right size for my small guitar. Happy playing!

I purchased this 3/4 size Gator case to protect my Classical Cordoba Cadet 3/4 size guitar. Was not sure about the fit and contacted Gabor before the purchase which they confirmed would fit based on the guitar's dimensions I provided.
The case is well made for the price and the guitar fit beautifully. Considering there are not many alternatives for 3/4 cases this case was an excellent choice for my guitar. The Cordoba gig bag ordered with the guitar did not afform sufficent protection and was returned to the retailer.

I recently purchased a nice Travel Guitar - Solid top that needs Humidty control. The Guitar came with a well constructed Gig Bag but in Phoenix that just won't work - I needed a Hard Shell case that would seal up well enough to maintain Humidity levels adequate to protect the guitar. These are not easy to find and when you do find one that fits the construction can be marginal.
This case is well constructed - looks great, seals well and fits like a glove. Value for the price is just outstanding, I am very pleased with this case and when I need another case I will be looking at the Gator Brand again.
