 Excellent home for my 000 martin black Apr 29, 2011

I have a Martin 000CXE Black and have been using a soft shell case for it. I was mostly worried about fiding a case that it would fit in and it didn't fit great in the soft shell. I finally decided to take a chance and buy a case and found this one which said it was designed for the 000. It fits perfectly. It's so snug that it barely moved when you wiggle it, but you also don't have to shoe-horn it in and it's not difficult to pull out. The only "complaint" I have is the metal clasps on the outside are of questionable quality. They look sturdy enough and feel sturdy, but a couple of them look kind of crooked. They still work fine and most people probably aren't as anal as I am so I highly recommend this case to anyone with a Martin 000 acoustic

Great Case - Fits my 70's Sigma GCS-6 (based on Martin 000) Dec 27, 2010

I have a 70's model Sigma GCS-6 guitar that has a lot of sentimental value. The Sigma GCS-6 was made by Martin and built to the Martin 000 specs. Since the guitar is fairly rare, no one lists them as a potential fit. The guitar is inexpensive so I didn't want to spend a ton on the case, but had to have one as my 30+ year old original is falling apart. I no longer felt comfortable transporting it, afraid the handle would come off, or the seam rip apart causing the guitar to fall to the ground.
This case fits (almost) perfect. The waist is off by a fraction, but that just serves to keep it securely in place. I am very happy with the choice.
The case itself is very sturdy and lighter than I expected. The inside is extremely soft, the storage area generous.
Now my memories are securely stored and protected.
Get it. You won't be sorry.

I too have a 70's Sigma GCS-6 000 size guitar like one of the previous reviews. I tried everyone in town to find a case for this guitar with no luck (I'm picky about the fit I guess). I found this one and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm very happy with the quality especially for the price. It's very well made, solid and offers outstanding protection and piece of mind. It has a nice plush interior that holds the instrument in place nicely. Amazon was of course great to deal with too!

This is a very solid case and fits a typical guitar very well. I can't say it will fit all models, but those it does it will protect.
