Kentucky KM-630 Mandolin May 22, 2010
By old soldier I have had this model Mandolin a little over a year now. For the price point it would be hard to beat. Set-up is the key to making this mando go from good to great.

Great product, BUT Nov 02, 2011

The mandolin is a wonderful model with a great sound. However, with the price listed, keep in mind that - unlike a number of the other products for sale here - this one doesn't come with a case. Additionally, this one is not fully set up - the bridge comes unattached. I understand the reasoning for doing so in shipping, but it's best you keep this in mind.
If you're like me and don't feel comfortable setting it up on your own, you will need to lay out extra money for final set up.
