Great strap! Jul 09, 2010

This is a very well-made strap. Before this strap, I owned the same one and had it for about 5 years. Unfortunately, the leather pieces on the ends stretched out at the button holes, causing my guitar to fall from the strap when I wasn't expecting it. I liked the design though, so much that I decided to get the same strap again. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that the formerly problematic leather end pieces have been reconstructed on this new strap. They are now two layers thick, as opposed to the previously single layer version. They seem very sturdy.

I got this strap from Amazon because this particular Levy's Hootenanny strap is hard to find anywhere else. It's a beautiful strap in person and doesn't disappoint in either appearance or comfort. The one knock against it is the rather slick nature of the polypropylene backing. It's comfortable but if your guitar is neck-heavy this strap won't hold keep the guitar from sliding like a leather strap.
That being said, this strap complements my guitar beautifully and I would have no reservations about buying it again, even with a little neck dive. :)

This was my first guitar strap ever! I tied it onto the neck just above the nut (it comes with a shoelace-type cord), and then I have a pin at the base of the body. The color is really nice, and it's very well made. Now I just have to get used to holding the guitar when I'm standing up. Overall a good purchase (and good price too, I think it could be much pricier for the quality).

I have a Levy for my Epiphone guitar, and really like the fit and adjust-ability of it. So when I got my Martin LX 1 3/4 size guitar, I knew I needed a different one. This strap is a gorgeous blue, a nice width, and it fit my small guitar perfectly. I was worried it would be too long, but it's not. A good buy for the price.

I bought this as a gift for my sister-in-law, whom has been playing guitar for years. She loved it! I was very impressed with the detail-it looks handmade. Definitely worth the money!
