A good solid stand Sep 17, 2010
By J. Otto These types of stands are the best for your guitar as they put no stress on the neck in any direction, unlike the ones that have a neck rest at the back or hang from the wall or ceiling. The stand is sturdy and well-built. It will hold both acoustic and electric guitars. The stand collapses flat for easy packing. Highly recommended. But be aware, the best place to keep your acoustic guitar is in its case with inexpensive humidity control devices like Zorb-Its. Leaving instruments on this or any other stand through the dry winter months can destroy even the finest guitars. Use this only for playing out or during a party or extended practice sessions or what have you. Otherwise, keep it cased.

great item but..... Dec 07, 2010
By deadeyeAZ great item fast transaction but, the bottom support is covered with a black foam material. there was a warning label in the package that said "do not use with nitrous cellulose lacquer" well guess what? any good guitar is going to have "nitrous cellulose lacquer" i would not have bought the item had i known that. I will get rid of the foam and replace it with felt or something. if it reacts with the finish it will mar the guitar.

Stands Tall Aug 07, 2010
By Dances in Bunny Shoes I wanted a guitar stand that I can't knock over. And I found it! This A frame stand is exactly what I needed. Its lightweight and does the trick nicely.

Elegant and well priced Oct 15, 2010
By DCdenizen This is for those who've finally decided it's time to kick your guitar off it's semi-permanent resting spot on the couch or to evict it from the close. A stand with a small footprint allows you to utilize an otherwise fallow piece of floor space turning your instrument into a feature and instantly making you more interesting to anyone walking into your living/bed/sleeping room.
For the price, this A-frame stand is very well constructed and is ready to go out of the box.

Surprisingly decent Aug 17, 2011
By Matt Eide I recently bought two of these - at the price I paid it didn't make sense to me to always be lugging one back and forth between the two places I use it. That turned out to be a better decision than I had thought as I'm used to being able to carry guitar and stand together with one hand. One down side to this stand is that that's impossible since the stand doesn't come up the neck like traditional designs do. Other than that, I'd be happier with something soft at the top of the A-frame for the back of my guitar to rest on. I'm careful and doubt that the plastic/rubber there is going to mar the finish, but a little felt or something would have been nice. I like the low profile, the ease of packing along with much else for a gig, the guitar-centered way it presents a guitar it's holding, ease of folding (though it just folds so the feet come together - nowhere near as compact as some other designs like this I've seen), and very sturdy construction. I really like the way it allows me to grab the neck of the guitar as I approach, since no part of the stand comes anywhere near the neck. I was really impressed when they arrived. The design seems a bit cheap, maybe, but the construction is really confidence inspiring - and really, all it has to do is hold a guitar upright!
