| | Description | Recording King Century Studio guitars illustrate the relentless pursuit of classic tone. No element has been overlooked in assembling one of the best sounding 12th fret guitars available. Each guitar is built with lighter bracing for more resonance, and the ebony pyramid bridge helps enable greater vibration from the hand-selected tops. The Nitrocellulose lacquer finish is dried for 8 weeks in order to insure that the lacquer is properly bonded to the wood. Both the gloss and matte finishes allow the guitars to sing powerfully and clearly. Recording King has built the ultimate in small-body guitars for the discerning player who is looking for supreme sound quality and excellence in construction. | |

Wonderful guitar. Jan 21, 2010
By Guitar Gary I have bought a lot of guitars the last few years looking for the right one. The right fit and sound and feel. Well my search is over, this is a world class guitar in every respect.Very light weight but well made, plays easily, a fingerpickers dream. A deep rich sound yet with crisp trebles. Very very pleased.

quality and playability Sep 29, 2010
By Charles DiMaggio I was looking for a decent steel-string slot-top guitar and gave this a try. Glad I did. This is a high-quality, solid-top beauty. The mahogany sounds darker than traditional spruce tops. A nice change from brighter traditional spruce tops for blues. I'm lucky enough to have a couple of higher-end acoustics, but I find myself playing this humble Recording King almost every day.

The Last Acoustic I'll Ever Need Dec 27, 2010
By Kyle Wayne Benson Beautiful sound, look, and feel. Everything about this guitar is perfect. I'll never play anything else. People approach me all the time asking me where I got my guitar is. Screw Martin and those corporate "professional" guitars with their low quality pick ups. This thing rules.
If you like a twangy, folksy sound, this is your guitar.
