Frankly, my expectations for this resonator were low due to the low price and where it was made.
It's pretty close to flawless. Solidly built, nice tone, and plenty loud. The setup was fine out of the box -- about 6/64" on the low E at the 12th fret and very low action at the nut.
Surprisingly (to me), even the strings seem fine. They appear to be fresh, but maybe a little on the light side (I'd guess 13-55's).
I was worried about potential shipping damage since it doesn't come in a case, but it came well-packed in a styrofoam quasi-case (within the Amazon box).
Kudos to Recording King for a low-cost quality product, and kudos to Amazon for selling it cheap, packing it well, and shipping it quickly.

I gave 3 stars because this is a nice guitar, but after ordering, and having a replacement sent, I still have not received the correct item. Both guitars I received from Amazon did not have the "Chicken Foot" pattern on the cover plate like the picture shows. Instead the cover plate they came with was just round holes in kind of a pentagon shape. Needless to say, they were returned, and I will be buying the item elsewhere. This was the first time I ever had a problem with Amazon, and was disappointed they never sent me the item I ordered.
