Great Deal Dec 06, 2008

I bought this guitar stand at Amazon for $9.99 plus free shipping. It works great. The base spreads out wide so you don't have to worry about it falling over and there is a little plastic latch that closes over the neck of your guitar so you don't have to worry about knocking the whole thing and the guitar popping out of the neck rest. I've never had any guitar stand before, so I don't know if there are other ones that are a lot better, but this one works well for a great price.

Decent stand for the price... Aug 20, 2009

For the price, this is a decent stand. I'm the type who reads instructions and all the manuals that come with products I purchase. This came with no instructions. It wasn't difficult to assemble, but the lower base that is inserted into the lower tube was a bit tricky to initially get inserted properly. One then needs to place the guitar on the stand in order to figure out the best height for the long tubular piece that is inserted into the base. Once assembled, the stand seems like it will be a good, inexpensive support for one's guitar. I very much like the piece that locks across the top of the guitar stand in front of the neck--it's an extra bit of safety to prevent the guitar from falling forward out of the stand. This is a hard to beat price for a good stand.
I tried going to the maker's website for instructions and Stagg Music site wouldn't load--even after several attempts? Again, figuring out how to assemble it is easy and shouldn't pose a problem for anyone.
Like a sarcophagus for my son's guitar May 14, 2012

[A minor] When my son first became interested in guitar lessons, I told him he could forget it. No son of mine was going to become a hippie crooner complaining about every injustice the world had to offer. No way. But, being the sensitive father I am, I relented, and soon he began to take lessons. Weeks passed, and he could play the opening sequence to "Desire" by U2. I was beside myself with despair. But the worst part was, with him practicing all the time, his darned guitar was always lying around the house. On the couch, the floor, the porch, his bed - even in the bath tub once but I think I might have been the one who put it there.
[E minor] Anyway, that's not the point. The point is that I bought this stand for him and, ever since, his guitar has sat there untouched. Finally! No longer do the strains of music or children's laughter fill our home! Finally, I can hear the world around me again! The floorboards creaking, the refrigerator cycling off after a hard day's work, the keyboard tapping as I surrender the last shards of my broken soul to a website that seriously solicited me to review a guitar stand.
[C major] Truth? It's a fine guitar stand. Works great. Highly recommended.
Great Stand May 03, 2012
By Karen I ordered this for my son to keep the guitar protected and off the floor. Great stand, quick shipping. Even looks good in the family room.
Nice stand i cant get base to work properly though Feb 04, 2012
By Jarrett Berl Its a good stand but my main problem s the bottom piece does not securely go in. Its not a huge problem as it is still steady and does its purpose but because of that minus 2 stars. For the price its a good deal and arrives quick.
